The chemical function of paper deacidification technology is to neutralize or remove the acidic substances in the paper, stabilize the cellulose in the paper structure, and prevent the cellulose from decomposing and making the paper weak. Paper deacidification technology effectively prevents or alleviates the chain-breaking hydrolysis of cellulose molecules, and continuously maintains the chain length.
