What is the classification of label paper?

Label paper can be divided into thermal paper, coated paper, PET/PVC/synthetic paper according to the material classification.

Thermal paper: not waterproof, not oil proof, tearable. Carbon ribbons are not available.

Coated paper: non-waterproof, non-oil-proof, tearable, with matte, plain and bright.

PET/PVC/synthetic paper: waterproof, oil-proof, non-tearable, high-temperature resistant, abrasion-resistant, with matte, plain, and bright (different materials have different temperature resistance, oil resistance, and water resistance) .

1. Classification of thermal paper

Material characteristics: not waterproof, not oil-proof, tearable.

Scope of application: more used in supermarket electronic scale labels, chemical laboratories, etc.

Applicable Ribbon: It can be used without ribbon.

Optional materials: imported thermal paper, domestic thermal paper, in fact, the thermal paper produced by many domestic manufacturers is also very effective.

2. Classification of coated paper

Material characteristics: not waterproof, not oil-proof, tearable, with matte, plain and bright.

Scope of application: outer box labels, price labels, asset management records, general home appliance body labels, etc.

Applicable ribbon: full wax/half wax half tree.

Optional materials: Glassin base coated paper, yellow base coated paper, imported coated paper (both are Glassin base).

3. PET/PVC/synthetic paper classification

Material characteristics: waterproof, oil-proof, non-tearable, high-temperature resistant, abrasion-resistant, with matte, plain, and bright (different materials have different temperature resistance, oil resistance, and water resistance).

Scope of application: electronics, home appliances, automobiles, chemicals and other industries.

PET: Strong toughness, crisp and hard, suitable for marking items with smooth surface;

PVC: poor toughness, soft and adhesive, suitable for marking items with uneven surfaces;

Synthetic paper: The toughness is between the two, and it is suitable for the identification of items on the surface of bottles and cans.

Applicable Ribbon: All resin ribbons are required (subdivided according to the label material to match the ribbon model).
